Jonathan M. Frantz, MD, FACS, medical director of Florida Eye Health, is pleased to announce that Eva B. Maloney, a certified medical electrologist and esthetician, has joined the staff of The Aesthetic & Cosmetic Laser Center at Florida Eye Health.
With extensive training and experience in electrolysis and skin rejuvenation, Maloney offers patients a variety of cosmetic procedures that gives them a fresh new look without surgery. She works under the direction of Eyelid & Facial Cosmetic Surgeon Nadia A. Kazim, MD, Director of Oculoplastic Surgery.
Among the procedures Maloney offers are microdermabrasions which are effective in reducing fine lines, crow’s feet, age spots and acne scars; facials and chemical peels for refining and rejuvenating the skin; the Obagi Skin Restoration System which works at the cellular level to correct surface discoloration and stimulate cell renewal to bring back the glow and softness of healthy, younger-looking skin; and laser hair removal to permanently reduce unwanted hair on the face, chin, underarms, back, bikini area and legs.
Maloney’s training in facial rejuvenation began in 1990 when she attended the Capri School of Skin Care in New York. Later she received her license as a Certified Medical Electrologist (CME) from Christine’s School of Electrolysis in Port Charlotte, and her Certificate in Laser Hair Removal at the Laser Derm Spa in Orlando. She completed additional training by Obagi in corrective skin care including the CRX Vitamin C Line, as well as training in skin rejuvenation and resurfacing provided by the Sciton Profile Aesthetic System, and is qualified in Derma Plane and Micro Peels through Biomedic/La Roche-Posay.
Maloney previously worked for another area cosmetic surgery practice and currently also works as a master colorist and stylist at Vincent’s Salon.
