This month Allergan, Inc. announced that the FDA has approved Juvederm® XC, a new version of its dermal filler. This latest version contains the local anesthetic lidocaine, which is also in the Hydrelle facial filler. Lidocaine numbs the treatment area within seconds to give patients more comfort during treatment of moderate-to-severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. According to Allergan, over 90% of subjects reported less treatment pain compared to non-lidocaine Juvederm. Click here to learn more about facial fillers and injectables.
