Jonathan M. Frantz, MD, FACS, medical director of Frantz EyeCare, is pleased to announce that Optometrist Emilio J. Martinez, OD, has joined the practice’s medical team and will see patients in the Cape Coral and Punta Gorda offices. Dr. Martinez is a primary eye care provider who specializes in examination and diagnosis of eye diseases, vision conditions, testing for eyeglasses and contact lenses, and provides pre and post-operative care of surgery patients.
Dr. Martinez most recently worked for Eye Centers of Florida. He received his Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis and is a member of the American Optometric Association, as well as the Florida and Southwest Florida associations. Born in Nicaragua, Dr. Martinez is fluent in Spanish.
