Ophthalmologist and Cataract Specialist Jonathan M. Frantz, MD, FACS, was published in the June 2014 Ophthalmology Management e-newsletter, which is emailed to ophthalmologists throughout the country. His article on “Improving Cataract Surgery Incrementally – Femtosecond lasers offer value to patients and practices alike” focused on how the LenSx Laser is helping him to improve surgical outcomes and provide better vision to our patients.
In the article, Dr. Frantz states “Best-corrected vision is becoming more important to this patient population. In the past we offered premium procedures, but weren’t always able to deliver on our promises. Now we can.” He also said “Without a doubt, my LenSx laser patients have more predictable surgical outcomes than the non LenSx patients. I attribute this to the precision of the laser and its ability to make consistent primary, secondary and arcuate incisions exactly where I place them, each and every time, all while using much less energy in a much more effective way.”
