Dr. Manik Goel specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma including primary open-angle glaucoma, acute angle-closure glaucoma, normal-tension glaucoma, secondary glaucoma, and childhood glaucoma. As a former Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virgina, Dr. Goel takes an educator’s approach to the care of his patients, thus ensuring that they will feel confidence in the treatment plan that he recommends for their care. Dr. Goel’s glaucoma expertise also makes him a more proficient cataract surgeon. He is uniquely qualified to handle complicated eye conditions during cataract surgery with greater skill and precision as a result of his training in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.
